Students Rules & Regulations

  • On admission to any course of study, every student submits himself/herself to disciplinary jurisdiction of the management of the Institute, the Incharge and other officers of the institute who may be vested with the authority to exercise discipline under University act and ordinance, Rules and Regulations that have been or will be framed by the institute.
  • The students are advised to keep themselves aware of the Institute rules. They are also advised to go through detailed rules and Prevention of Ragging rules given separately. Ignorance of rules shall not be an excuse for violation.
  • The working hours of the college are from 9:30 A.M to 5:30 P.M. Each lecture/ tutorial shall be of 60 minutes duration. For each semester Time-table shall be displayed. Students must appear for all semester tests and complete all assignments and projects given to them for the internal assessment.   • It is mandatory for the students to carry Identity Card while attending the Institute failing which he / she may be disallowed to attend the class / laboratory or use any other facility.
  • It is mandatory for the students to wear uniform on week days. Students are required to be dressed neatly and decently.
  • Any type of casual / indecent attire (shorts, knickers, capris, see-through dresses and bathroom slippers) will not be allowed in college premises
  • Gents Kurta and other casual wear will not be allowed in the Academic Block.
  • The student must maintain a good track record of his/her conduct, all through the stay in the Institute by abiding rules and regulations.
  • College rules, office orders and status of faculty / staff must not be disregarded.
  • Attendance will be counted from the very first day of the commencement of the classes.
  • Mobile phones should be switched off during lectures, curricular as well as extra-curricular activities. Mobile phones are also not allowed inside computer labs, library and administrative offices. Photograph of any other person/student should not be taken without his/her consent.
  • Punctuality is the foundation stone of student life. It is expected from the students to be punctual for all the lectures and co-curricular activities.
  • No responsibility will be accepted by the institute for any injury, loss or damage to the personal articles of students.
  • Lack of courtesy and decorum; unbecoming conduct within and outside the Institute; willful damage to Institute property, removal of any property belonging to the Institute, fellow students or other personnel and residents of the Institute; use of abusive and offensive language: disturbing fellow students in their studies; breach of rules and regulations of the Institute; adoption of unfair practices in tests, quizzes, assignments, or examinations; noisy and unruly behavior shall constitute violation of the code of conduct.
  • Students are expected to be present in the class rooms for the lectures before the instructor. Late entrants will not be allowed in the classroom.
  • Assignments and projects are given for better education hence it should be the original work of a student. Therefore, copying assignments from Internet or from fellow classmates will not be allowed.
  • Students are expected to be punctual in all respects and they should try to submit their assignments before the last date of submission.
  • It is compulsory for the students to attend functions /activities organized by the institute on various occasions like Independence Day, Republic Day, Annual Day, etc whether the function falls on a working day or on holidays. Absence from such functions without valid reasons will invite disciplinary action.
  • Students are expected to exercise control over verbal as well as non-verbal (body) language while dealing with faculty, staff, and fellow students. Abusive language and rash behavior shall not be tolerated under any circumstances.
  • Following traffic rules and wearing helmets is must for safety purpose. Students riding bikes and two wheelers shall use helmets of good brands. They must possess valid driving license.
  • Students should ensure that they park their two wheeler/four wheelers in a proper systematic manner & shall be done only at specified parking area.
  • Students must make all possible efforts to conserve electricity and water. They must switch off lights & fans when they leave the class room, lab etc. Students must help keep the institute neat and clean and also preserve and maintain the gardens.
  • No student shall be in possession of any valuables or heavy cash amount while in the college campus. Any student possessing such valuables would do so at his/her risks and costs.
  • As per the orders of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India & the various government circulars, Ragging is strictly prohibited so students must try not to indulge in any such activity.
  • Smoking, chewing of beetles and tobacco, use of drugs, narcotics and liquor are strictly prohibited. Any student found violating this will be penalized.
  • The students are advised to see regularly the notices displayed on the Institute notice boards. The notice displayed on these notice boards shall be deemed to have been served on the students.

Warning of Hostel not a case for CMS: Ragging is strictly prohibited. The entire college premises, including hostel, has been declared as ragging free zone. Any student found to be involved in the act of ragging is liable to be expelled from the institute.
